Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday emphasized that Pakistan’s national progress depends on the uplift of all federating units, stressing that no single province can drive development alone.
Addressing a ceremony at the University of Haripur, the prime minister said true progress can only be achieved through holistic and inclusive development across the country.
PM Distributes Laptops to KP Students
During the ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz distributed 500 laptops among students from various universities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, reaffirming the government’s focus on youth empowerment.
“Whether it is laptops, agricultural training, or students sent abroad, Pakistan’s development does not belong to one province alone — it depends on collective progress,” he said.
Vision for Youth Empowerment
Sharing his vision for Pakistan’s future, the prime minister highlighted the importance of creating opportunities for young people based on merit and capability.
“The future of this nation lies in our students. They are not only brilliant but capable of competing and excelling at a global level,” he added.
He stressed that empowering youth with education and skills is key to securing Pakistan’s long-term growth.

The prime minister paid tribute to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Hazara division for their resilience amid ongoing security challenges.

“The people of this province, along with our civil and military forces, have made unforgettable sacrifices for the country,” he said.

Referring to the May conflict with India, PM Shehbaz said New Delhi would not forget the setback it faced at the hands of Pakistan’s armed forces during “Marka-i-Haq.”
He praised the bravery and patriotism of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, calling them a symbol of courage and national pride.

The prime minister also addressed Pakistan’s economic challenges, stating that the government had pulled the economy back from the brink of default.
